Nevins built 12 meter sloop COLUMBIA (built 1958 in City Island, N.Y.) on Block Island Sound. Visible in image: cropped starboard view of COLUMBIA running before the wind, hull is hidden from view by large swell of water, image of bottom of genoa and mainsail, crewmen on bow sending up genoa in stops while four other men tend to halyards and lines at mainmast.
