Image of 135' Olin Stephens designed, Bath Iron Works built J class sloop RANGER (built 1937 in Bath, Me.) and 202' Atlantic Coast Company four-masted schooner HERBERT L. RAWDING (built 1919 in Stockton Springs, Me.) off New London, Conn. Visible in image: port beam view of RANGER running before the wind under a marconi-rigged mainsail and spinnaker, passing the starboard quarter of the HERBERT L.
