Francis Herreshoff designed, Quincy Adams Yacht Yard Inc. built auxiliary ketch TICONDEROGA (built 1936 in Quincy, Mass.) during the Miami-Nassau Race off Florida. Visible in image: starboard beam view of TICONDEROGA (#100) running before the wind under mizzen staysail, mizzen fisherman's staysail, marconi-rigged mainsail and spinnaker, hull lost behind a wave, wind rolled out of mainsail and spinnaker.
