Luder Jr. designed, Luder Marine built 12 meter class sloop WEATHERLY (built 1958 in Stamford, CT) off Newport, RI in America's Cup race. Visible in image: starboard quarter views of "GRETEL" to rear and WEATHERLY to front on port close reaches heeled over, rail down under marconi-rigged mainsails and genoas, spectator fleet ahead of racers.
