ESCAPADE was a 72'6" auxiliary centerboard yawl, designed by Phil Rhodes of Cox & Stevens and built by Luders Marine Construction Company of Stamford, Connecticut in 1938. Owned from 1947-1955 by the Jefferson Company. Stamped on the sleeve: "125756F / LIPTON RACE / FLORIDA / 1950 / [Box] 5094". Handwritten: "Escapade #108".
