Image of RHUBARB, #543 (on the left), and SOUTHERN STAR II, #548, both 40-foot Block Island Class boats, racing in rough seas on a sunny day, port quarter view. RHUBARB was a 40'3" auxiliary yawl, 40' Block Island Class, #543, designed by William H. Tripp Jr. and built by Beetle Boat Company of East Greenwich, Rhode Island in 1958. SOUTHERN STAR II, sail #548, was a 40'8" Block Island Class auxiliary yawl built by American Boat Building Corporation of East Greenwich, Rhode Island from designs by William H.
