4x5 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on June 18, 1950 during the time of Larchmont Race Week. The vessel is the 24' Roger McAleer designed Raven Class centerboard sloop VINKY, believed to have been built by Cape Cod Shipbuilding Company of Wareham, Massachusetts. Image of VINKY, sail #31, after capsizing with two of the crew sitting on the hull bottom with one of the crew clinging to the hull while still in the water and the other lying on the hull.
