Spectators visible on shore in background. TEMPO VI was built by the Ventnor Boat Co., Egg Harbor City, NJ 1938. She was designed by Arno A. Apel, and launched as MY SIN. Guy Lombardo bought MY SIN and renamed her TEMPO VI. Stamped on original negative sleeve: "123724F / JUL 2 1949 / GOLD CUP / DETROIT / 1949 / 5061". Handwritten on sleeve: "tempo VI".
