VIDOR was 171 feet in length, and designed by Gielow, Inc. She was built in 1926 at Todd Shipyard in Brooklyn, NY. She underwent several name changes and owners as follows: SIVAD 1926 (O.P. Davis) -- VIDOR 1926-1928 (Victor Emanuel then Carl Tucker) -- HI-ESMARO 1929-1929 (Charles A. Boldt) -- HILDA 1930-1934 (Caddo Co.) -- MOANA 1935-1937 (William B. Leeds) -- VELDA (Leslie L. Irvin) 1938-1949. Typed on original negative sleeve: "27146 / 11/30/26 / Vidor / After deck".
