Herreshoff and built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company of Bristol, Rhode Island in 1907. Neg. sleeve listed this image as AVENGER, but sloop positively identified as AURORA, K #29. Handwritten neg. sleeve: "1-B / Avenger[sic] / Aug 10". Handwritten on neg. margin: "B1 / 3042".
