8x10 glass plate negative originally photographed by Charles Edwin Bolles and later became part of the Rosenfeld Collection. View of the gaff-rigged sloop, NAUTILUS, undersail, starboard bow view and has a very long bowsprit. Photographed September 4, 1893. In the background to the left is an unidentified schooner and to the right the shoreline. Handwritten in pencil on verso edge: "Nautilus". Glued on a small piece of paper on surface edge, typed: "81 Nautilus, September 4, 1893." Handwritten neg. sleeve; "Nautilus / Y523 / Sloop . Box 53." Videodisc address: 3-27726".
