7x5 glass negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on July 21, 1920. Image of cutters RESOLUTE and SHAMROCK IV at America's Cup Challenge at the start of the third race. The American flag flying from the cutter in the foreground, port bow view, makes her RESOLUTE, with a gaff-rigged main and topsail, staysail, jib and flying jib raised. The cutter aft and to the right is SHAMROCK IV with her gaff-rigged main, topsail and flying jib raised, crew acting as ballast, port bow view. To the far right in the background is a lightship.
