8x10 glass negative photographed by Charles Edwin Bolles ca. 1895 of COLUMBIA while still being used as a passenger steamer. COLUMBIA, underway, starboard bow view, was 142' and originally built and designed in 1892, by William Murphy of Buffalo, New York. In 1899/1900, COLUMBIA was converted to a private steam yacht and renamed THETIS. Handwritten neg. sleeve info.: "COLUMBIA / Y61 / Box 7".
