5x7 nitrate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons, 1919 during the Detroit Races. Image was probably taken while racing for the (Morris) Rosenfeld Cup to promote speed racing. ROMEO won the Cup that year. View of vessel off-centered to the right in the negative, underway, port beam view. The Detroit Yacht Club is in the distant background. Handwritten note from negative sleeve: "2934-S / ROMEO / Detroit Gold Cup Races-1919 / Box 457". Vidoe disc address: 3-40166. Negative has broken since video image was taken in 1988.
