Candid photograph of the designer Christopher Smith, side view, smoking his cigar, seated on a dock piling writing down something in pencil in a small notebook. To his left is a partial group of men and to his right part of the port side of a small cruiser with a young boy sitting on the roof of a raised cabin looking at the camera.
