ONEONTA was built by the Delaware River Iron Shipbuilding and Engine Works of Chester, Pennsylvania from designs by Gardner & Cox and launched in July of 1895. She was renamed in 1900 as NORMAN and altered by her new owner Frank Tilford. Handwritten negative sleeve info.: "Y224 / Oneonta". Neg. margin info.: "872 / Oneonta".
