SNAP SHOT III was a 40' cruiser built ca. 1911 by Alex Simpson of New York City, NY, from designs by Southmayd Hatch and owned in 1911 by J.B. Lindeman. It is most likely that the man and woman on board with crew are Mr. and Mrs. Lindeman. Handwritten neg. sleeve info.: "Halifax Race / 1911 / Snapshot / Box 2" and stamped: "PLATE NO." and written: "15". Handwritten in ink on plate edge: "Snapshot".
