Image of INEVITABLE underway, port beam view, racing #2, shoreline in very distant background. INEVITABLE was a 40' screw launch designed by Morris M. Whitaker and built by William R. Osborn of Croton, New York in 1911. Her owner/driver during the race was H.A Johnson. Handwritten neg. sleeve info.: "Fire Is. Race / MB Inevitable / Box 4." Stamped: "PLATE NO. 43".
