6x8 glass negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the time of the Fire Island Race held August 12, 1911 and sponsored by the National Yacht Club of Bensonhurst, New York. Image of SUIS-MOI under power, port bow view with shoreline in the background. SUIS MOI or SUIS-MOI, was a cruiser with 2 stabilizing masts, had a cabin house with glass sides, was approximately 40' in length and had a clipper style bow. During the race SUIS-MOI, broke down five miles from the Fire Island lightship. Handwritten neg. sleeve info.: "Fire Is. Race / M.B(motor boat) / Suis-Moi / Box 4." Stamped: "PLATE NO. 46".
