6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld in 1912. Image of MYRTLE, underway, starboard bow view on Long Island Sound. MYRTLE, later renamed EVELEEN II , was a 46'6" launch built and designed in 1910 by Atkin-Wheeler Company of Halesite, New York. She was owned from 1910 to 1914 by Henry H. Gordon, Jr. of Huntington, Long Island, New York, a member of the Huntington Yacht Club. Information written on the original negative sleeve: "#96 / Box 8 / Huntington Regatta Y.C. / M.B. / Myrtle" and stamped: "PLATE NO." CREDIT LINE: Mystic Seaport, Rosenfeld Collection.
