5 x 7 glass plate negative taken by Morris Rosenfeld in August 1915 in Manhasset Bay, NY. Close, centered, posed view of Robert Edgren with Mr. & Mrs. J. Stuart Blackton, seen standing on the deck of an unidentified yacht at the 1915 Gold Cup Races. Mr. & Mrs. Blackton owned the Vitagraph Picture Co. in Oyster Bay, Long Island. Mr. Blackton was the Commodore of the Atlantic Yacht Club. He also commissioned several hydroplanes from Chris Smith. Robert Edgren was the driver of his hydroplane BABY SPEED DEMON II in the 1915 Gold Cup Race.
