8x10 copy print photographed by an unidentified photographer sometime between 1901 and 1903. The Herreshoff 15 was a one design class with a knockabout rig with dimensions of 24' x 15' x 6'9" x 2'3". From left to right: NEXT, #E-12, Unidentified, #E-5, FIDDLER, #E-11, UARDA, #E-8, EAGLET, #E-4, and PEACOCK, #E-3. The first 15 boats, "...of the Buzzards Bay 15 Class were delivered to members of the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion, Massachusetts for the summer racing season of 1899 and the building of these vessels was commissioned by Robert W. Emmons II, a member of the Beverly Yacht Club. The Buzzards Bay 15 was the second of the Herreshoff One-designs. They were known as the E-Class at the Beverly Yacht Club..."
