5 x 7 glass plate negative taken by Morris Rosenfeld in August, 1915. Port bow view of MISS DETROIT underway at the Gold Cup Race on Manhasset Bay, NY. MISS DETROIT was built by Chris Smith, driven by Johnny Milot, and Jack Beebe served as her mechanic. She won the Gold Cup in 1915. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "Miss Detroit, Manhasset Bay".
