Ship model in a bottle; bottle is square and clear with fluted shoulders, round neck. Molded in glass near base "4/5 QUART". Bottle sealed with blue wax, bound with white twine. Wood base, antique blue finish, with silver plate engraved: "ALICE S. WENTWORTH/ & SLOOP/ BY/ JAMES LORD./" Inside is model of schooner ALICE S. WENTWORTH and unidentified gaff-rigged sloop in bottle. Blue simulated water with white caps. Line of stones representing jetty (?) with small white lighthouse in upper corner of bottle.
