6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld in the summer of 1912 during the elimination trials or races for the Harmsworth Trophy held in Huntington Bay, New York. Image shows a distant starboard beam view of the British hydroplane MONA underway with two people visible on board and spectator vessels and a treed shoreline in the background.
