World War II era electric fan, black metal, round base and motor casing; 4 blades of 3-3/4inches; gold tone safety cage with "GE" in center. Base connected to motor casing with wing-nut to adjust angle of fan. Base has lever with 3 speeds. Top of motor casing has remnants of metal label "ALTERNA [missing]/ No. 5144 [missing]/ PAT. A [missing]/ GENER [al Electric Co.]. 58" cord with 2-prong plug at the end.
