Folding bicorne cocked hat belonging to Rear Adm. Charles A. Baldwin. Black beaver with black lace trim. Accordion fold in crown. Gold loop decoration with gold eagle-on-anchor- button on one side. Two 3" tassles of gold loop and blue loop with woven top, one is attached to end of hat, one is loose. Lining is unmarked but fragile and shows evidence of repair.
