5 x 7 glass negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the time of the New York Yacht Club Cruise from August 15th, 1927 to August 23rd, 1927 which started at Glen Cove and finished at Newport, Rhode Island. Image is believed to be at the start of the race at Glen Cove, Long Island, New York. Closeup view, starboard side amidships of CORSAIR (3) with guests probably getting ready to disembark from the vessel to their tenders. Several pulling boats seen at her gangplank along with an unidentified runabout with the bow registration #15297K which looks like a 3 cockpit Chris-Craft. The front center pulling boat is named RESOLUTE, which is visible across the inside of her transom. She is most likely a tender to a larger yacht named RESOLUTE. Typed on original negative sleeve: "24579-F". Stamped: "NYYC Cruise 1927". Handwritten: "Tender leaving Corsair / Box 1886" and notation at bottom, "wants to know name of Chris Craft". Notation of print possibly sent by Rosenfeld and Sons to the following: "Utz". CREDIT LINE: Mystic Seaport, Rosenfeld Collection.
