Both of these women competed in the US Open Women's Doubles Tournament in 1920, and competed as finalists. The women are seen standing on grass courts, in full length white skirts and blouses. They each hold a wooden racket. Spectators are seen in the background and wooden chairs are set up in the sidelines. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "43927F / Tennis at Sea Bright, N.J. / Miss Eleanor Tennant + / Miss Marion Zinderstein / Box 558".
