View of 100' Herreshoff schooner OHONKARA (built 1920 in Bristol, RI), 114' Lawley & Son built, Arthur Binney design schooner SONNICA (built 1906 in S. Boston, Mass.), and 85' Lawley & Son built, Tams, Lemoine & Crane design schooner DERVISH (built 1906 in S. Boston, Mass.) seen at the start of the New York Yacht Club cruise. Visible in image: port beam views of three schooners running free before the wind under gaff-rigged main and foresails, topsails, main staysails, and genoa jibs, schooners from foreground to background: OHONKARA (C/2), SONNICA (D/15) and DERVISH.
