5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in. black and white photographic postcard made by Azoy, undated. View of EDITH (III) undersail with 2 people in the cockpit, with the logo and sail number, #M1, and the burgee of the Jackson Park Yacht Club of Lake Michigan. EDITH III, was a 43' gaff-rigged sloop yacht with a transom stern with an overhang. EDITH III, later renamed NORTHERN LIGHT, was built by Wood and Chute of Greenport, New York from designs by Charles D. Mower in 1926. Her owner was Robert Williamson of the Jackson Park Yacht Club, Lake Michigan. Image is in an oval with a handwritten title under the oval reading, "YACHT EDITH / J.P.Y.C." and signed in the lower right corner, "R. WILLIAMSON". No message on postcard verso.
