Starboard beam view of the auxiliary ketch MICCO under sail. Vessel seen at the Newport to Bermuda Race, a four to six day excursion. Spectators seen in background, including unidentified power and sailing vessels to the far right (cropped from prints). MICCO was built in 1891 and measured 40 feet 6 inches at waterline, and had draft of 4 feet. She was built by A.C. Brown in Staten Island, and was an Ralph M. Monroe design.
