Nevins Inc. built New York 32 class sloop AWAY, sail #19 (built 1936 in City Island, NY), during the Miami-Nassau Race. Image is of AWAY undersail, starboard quarter view on a port tack showing the deck in rough weather off Florida. Stamped neg. sleeve: "115550F / FLORIDA 1947 / [Box] 4924." Handwritten on negative sleeve: “NY 19 Away." Typed: "MIAMI-NASSAU RACE."
