5 x 7 contact print, from a 5 x 7 Kodak safety negative, taken by Rosenfeld and Sons circa 1931. Port quarter view of the New York 40, CHINOOK, under sail, rails awash. CHINOOK was designed by Sparkman and Stephens, and built by Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, Bristol, RI, 1916. She measured 59 feet in length overall.
