8 x 10 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on July 1, 1916. View of the owner, Cippriano Andrade, Jr., and his family on the afterdeck of the newly launched screw steam yacht, PARRAKEET. Three men and two ladies seen posed, lounging on the deck. One younger woman sits with a young dog on her lap. PARRAKEET was owned and designed by C. Andrade Jr., and built by Joseph B. Glasier in 1916, Greenwich, Connecticut. She measured 50 feet in length and was powered by a 4 stroke, 4 cylinder, VanBlerck engine.
