5 x 7 Kodak safety negative taken by Rosenfeld and Sons on May 18, 1930. Port beam view of the J Class sloop ENTERPRISE (J/4) under sail. ENTERPRISE was made by Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, and launched in 1930 as an America's Cup defender. She was designed by Burgess & Morgan, and measured 121 feet in length. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "39338F / 5/18/30 / Enterprise / Box 2503".
