Frank: "Thomas Dibdin (1771-1841) was the eldest son of Charles Dibdin (1745-1814) and the namesake of Charles's older brother Thomas (I), the subject of Dibdin's greatest and most enduring song, "Poor Tom" (Tom Bowling") (1789) [see 2003.21.15 and 2005.28.12]. John Braham [ne Abraham] (1774?-1856) was a celebrated baritone and composer of sea songs. "All's Well" appeared inthe comic opera 'The English Fleet,' written by S.J. Arnold; it is also anthologized in sheet music entitled 'A Nautical Fantasia' (London, n.d.), already in the MSM collection (2000.159.9). Ref's: Sabine Baring-Gould, 'English Minstrelsie,' 1926; H.K.
