5x4 Kodak safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the New York Yacht Club Cruise in early August of 1954. Image of the vessel JULIE undersail, starboard bow view, running before the wind, spinnaker set, on a mild port tack, spray at the bow. JULIE was originally named STORM, a 55'7" sloop built in 1950, sail #280, and renamed in 1954 as JULIE and renamed again as STORM in 1972-1973 and then in 1974 as REALITY. She was built and designed by Luders Marine Construction Company of Stamford, CT. In 1954 she was bought by Paul Campbell, Sr. of Greenwich, Connecticut. The list of people on board from forward to aft: 1. Paul Campbell, Jr. (age 14), Melanie Campbell (age 12), Bob Haws at spinnaker pole, Tony Ziluca under boom with head behind mainsail, unidentified person behind shrouds, Julie Campbell is the woman with the sunglasses, unidentified man from rear, Commodore Paul Campbell at the helm.
