Half model of an unidentified centerboard yacht. Made by Capt. Knowles, Wakefield, R.I. in Dec. 1920. Model construction: 5 lifts, port view, no backboard, natural finish, alternating lifts of pine and a darker wood, top lift chipped at stern. Model is backed with sheet copper, keel and skeg formed out of sheet copper. Label on top "...This Model... to 1' - Made/ by Capt. ...wles - Wakefield/ Rhodeisland - Dec. 1920/ 2/ 3 O A x 5 1/2 wide/ ... centreboard". Long overhanging bow, long flat run, extended yacht counter, elliptical stern.
