Star Class World Championships 1945

Races

The Star Class World's Championships in August, 1945, were held on Long Island Sound, off Stamford, Connecticut.

According to YACHTING, October 1945, p. 76: "As has been the custom during the war years, it [the Star Class World's Championship] was sailed in boats provided by the host clubs, each competing crew bringing its own sails and drawing lots each day for the boats." For this reason, the sail numbers do not identify the hulls.
