Image of 67' Iain Murray and John Swarbrick designed, Toby Richardson built 12 meter sloop KOOKABURRA III (built 1986 in Australia) tailing 64' David Pedrick, Bruce Nelson, and Britton Chance designed, Robert Derecktor built 12 meter sloop STARS & STRIPES (built 1986 in Mamaroneck, NY) at second race of America's Cup off Fremantle, Australia. Visible in image: cropped starboard quarter view of KOOKABURRA III (KA-15 / 312; yellow hull) on port close reach to stern of STARS & STRIPES (blue hull) seen from port quarter on starboard close reach under marconi-rigged mainsails and genoas, tall ship in background.
