5x7 glass plate photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons, ca. 1917. View taken from the roof top of a building looking down probably Broadway Avenue in New York City. Long shot of a parade. Large crowd of people watching from either side of the street and from balconies as lines of evenly divided divisions of Red Cross women workers march down the street. The flag in front of one division reads, "Jewish...". "Public Library" building down the street to the left. Many businesses are advertised within the buildings lining the street such as; Melles (Gowns and Wraps), Shaws, William MacBeth ("Paintings by American Artist's"), G. W. Koch & Son (Parquet Floors), Avedon & Company, Inc., and Goodrich Tires. Sign further down the street on a building reads, "Coming to America / CHU CHIN CHOW / the Worlds Most Beautiful Production".
