Image of exterior of Jacob Ruppert Brewery at East 91st Street looking from Third Avenue down to Second Avenue with the Second Avenue El (elevated train which was disassembled in 1942) in the distance. View down street between "JACOB RUPPERT'S BREWERY" spelled out in brick on one side and "1851 JACOB RUPPERT BREWERY 1910" on sign on other side of street. The building on the left is the Brew House Building which had the main public entrance from Third Avenue and on the right is the "wash house" where all the bottle washing, stacking and loading was done as well as all garages for bottle delivery. This block is now pedestrian only and the brick roadway is still there.
