5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons, April 22, 1917. View of a woman sitting on the hull of an overturned row boat, in a long skirt, scrubbing the hull of the launch, HYGEIA, with a hard scrub brush. The vessel is starboard quarter side toward the camera, hauled out in a boat yard. There is a man at the very right edge of the negative standing in the cockpit area of the launch. Other boats are in the background still covered with canvas from the winter to the left. Handwritten negative sleeve info.: "3572S / 16 / 4/22/17 / Box 502 / Fitting Out".
