5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons, July 11, 1923. View of the actress and singer, Miss Peggy Wood sitting in a Belle Isle "Bear Cat" runabout for the purpose of advertisement. Miss Wood started her career in 1920 and was well-known in the theater especially in musicals early on. From 1949 to 1957 she played Mama in the popular television series "I Remember Mama". Because she was so involved in the theatre, she appeared in very few films. The Bear Cat, bow number 100, is at rest, port bow view and Miss Wood is seated at the wheel. In the background are 2 other motor boats to the left and the right and lots of trees along the shoreline. Typed negative sleeve info.: "10447-F".
