Image of 30.5' Burgess & Morgan designed, Abeking & Rasmussen built Atlantic class sloop WHIM (built 1929 in Lemwerder, Germany), 20.5' Herreshoff S class sloop TINKER (built 1919 in Bristol, RI), and a 18' Philip Rhodes designed, Cape Cod Shipbuilding Co. built Rhodes 18 class sloop (built in Wareham, Mass.) at Manhasset Bay Yacht Club Race Week off Port Washington, NY. Visible in image: port bow view of WHIM (A/10) running before the wind under marconi-rigged mainsail and spinnaker, in background are numerous sloops including a Rhodes 18 class sloop (CR / 24) and TINKER (S/8).
