Seen in the foreground to the right is the starboard rail and davitt of the DECATUR. In the center background is a single destroyer. Further in the background are two more destroyers turning to starboard. From Henry Strauss transcript in Sound Archives: "Oh, this is on neutrality patrol. This was on the reserve cruise. Ah, the first one when we were on the DECATUR, which was a four piper. And you can see the other destroyers, we were in the process of practicing the turn."
