Circle shaped fan attached to an etched, ivory handle; originally stored in box 2003.90.12. Fan is a round, cream colored silk panel embroidered with the image of two roosters facing one another; one rooster is standing on a rock, the other is sitting.The roosters are surrounded by blue daisies and spiraling pink flowers. Behind the standing rooster, there is a bundle of tall bamboo. There are five smaller blue, pink, and brown birds flying in the background, and perched in the bamboo. The fan's edge is wrapped in an embroidered geometric and floral border.
