Image of a group of men waiting to board a launch from a float connected by a gangplank to the New York Yacht Club Station No. 6 before the start of the New York Yacht Club Cruise. Club house visible on far left with many more men waiting at the top of the gangplank. Various yacht tenders and launches waiting their turns to pull up to the float for passengers. In the background are two identified vessels: AURORA, sail #K29 is a cutter and WANECHE, a 40' screw launch. Handwritten on original negative sleeve: "11 / Group of Motor Boats at Dock / N.Y.
