Image is a long shot of SONNY, sail #69, undersail, starboard quarter view, close-hauled on a port tack in rough seas. SONNY was a 53'6" auxiliary cutter designed by Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. and built by Robert Jacob, Inc. of City Island, New York in 1935 and was owned in 1936 by Albert D. Phelps.
